Epic Day of Service - May 16
May 16th was an EPIC DAY OF SERVICE for Montana Rotary and Kalispell Daybreak Rotary. We joined local partners to clean up the road and entrance into Glacier National Park in West Glacier. This work included brush clean up and beautification projects at the Park entrance from US Highway 2, and working from the Village under the train overpass and along the highway. Way to go Rotarians! This entrance will welcome millions of visitors to Glacier this year. 

Great Bear Festival 2026
Save the Date for Great Bear 2026 - Saturday, August 8th
Last year, residents and visitors enjoyed a fun summer afternoon and evening at an amazing venue. With sponsorship support from local businesses and private donors, the Rotary Great Bear Festival raises funds for local and global charitable projects. Your Flathead Valley Rotary Clubs are excited to present the 9th annual festival at the Wachholz Center at Flathead Valley Community College on August 8th, 2026. This venue allows us to grow the event in a beautiful setting and provide ample, easy access parking. We re-imagined the Great Bear Festival together with our community and grew it to new heights, making it more family-friendly and affordable! This incredible opportunity focuses on celebrating local culture, music, food, drink, and fun. It brings our community together with interactive activities for all ages.

The Flathead business community is known for its generosity to local causes. Rotary’s mission is Service Above Self. Together, we make a difference! To inquire about sponsorship opportunities for 2026, email kalispellnoonrotary@gmail.com.

Glacier Distillery Whiskey Fundraiser
Daybreak Rotary teamed up with Glacier Distillery and Hungry Horse Liquors to hand-select two exclusive single barrels of whiskey–A Logan Pass Single Malt and a North Fork Rye. For every bottle sold, $50 went directly to support local nonprofit grants through Daybreak Rotary Undesignated Giving. Both barrels were sold out and through this fundraiser $7,200 was raised to support non-profits in the Flathead Valley! Cheers to supporting good causes in the community Rotarians! 

Salvation Army Bell Ringing
 
You may have had some Daybreak Rotary sightings lately! 🔔 Rain, shine, or freezing temps, we love being out there ringing the bell for our community.
 
Huge thanks to the Salvation Army for letting us participate in this amazing program every year. If you see us, come say hi!
