Presentation on Lakers Baseball Organization
The Lakers are Kalispell’s American Legion Baseball Team and are sponsored by Post 137. Established in 1970, the Lakers have been the premiere and primary high school age baseball program in Kalispell, providing competitive baseball to kids from Flathead, Glacier and Bigfork High Schools. The Lakers are managed by the Kalispell Legion Baseball Association, a 501c3 non-profit run by a volunteer board. We play home games at Griffin Field (just off Airport Road) and travel all across Montana, Idaho, Washington and parts of Canada from late April through July. Ryan Malmin has been our AA Manager since 2006 and has over 700 career wins. We currently are fielding 3 teams, a Varsity (AA), JV (A) and Freshman (B).
About Toby… I’ve been involved with the Lakers since 2006, my first season as a player, and I haven’t been able to stay away since. I am the current President of the Kalispell Legion Baseball Association.
