After reviewing several essays and Scholarship Applications, the committee selected two fine young women to received our two academic scholarships.

Hannah’s essay struck the committee when she shared 3 things:
- We can be a leader and serve others above self in many aspects of our lives.
- Serving others should be about benefiting those served, not about getting recognition for doing the service.
- Not only does serving better you as a person, but it betters the community as a whole.
